The Beginner Knockout was a quick follow up concept to our original Expert Knockout idea. Our goal was simple. We needed a target that wasn't nearly as difficult of an introduction to Cofata. This is a great option for some of us that don’t get to practice as often. The result is a great choice for a quick challenge alone or a timed challenge with friends. The Beginner Knockout increases the difficult upon the Novice Knockout by introducing rings. As you clear the target from the inside ring, you start loosing space to identify shots that miss the remaining knockout tabs. The Beginner Knockout target is the perfect introduction for those practicing the fundamentals of the shooting sport with a target that will help anyone develop their marksmanship skills. 
 
All of the Cofata marksmanship challenge targets are designed with smallbore in mind. Rimfire rifles, such as the Ruger 10/22, have continued to be a popular choice to introduce to new shooters. Training is expensive, which is why the good old .22lr remains the most efficient training platform for marksmanship practice and training. 
 
Don't forget to work your way from the inside rings to the outside for the best knockout target experience.
 
We recommend using a color marker or paint pen to add extra visibility to tabs. Pick the color that contrasts best with your range conditions.
